Small dog lying comfortably on its back on modular carpet tiles

Our Story: Made for Paws, Designed for Home

It started with a simple frustration.

We love our dog. We did not love what loving our dog was doing to our home. The slipping on hardwood floors. The rug that was ruined by a single muddy-paw afternoon. And the pet products that solved one problem while creating another - the giant non-slip mat that made the living room look like a kennel.

We wanted something better. We just did not want our home to look like we had bought something for our dog.

So we stopped shopping for pet products and started designing a home product - one that happens to be perfect for pets.

The floor was the problem

Hardwood and tile look beautiful, but they are unforgiving for paws: slippery for running, hard for napping, and one accident away from a stain that never comes out. A traditional rug helps, until it does not - one mess can ruin the entire rug.

Modular carpet tiles were part of the answer. But most of them come with adhesive backing: glue that grabs the floor, traps dirt, and gives up after a few washes. A tile you cannot wash is not a tile for a home with pets.

No glue. Just physics.

That is why Pawsaic uses static adsorption instead of adhesive. The TPE thermoplastic rubber backing grips smooth floors through static cling - no glue, no residue, no damage to your floors.

And here is what no glue really means: you can wash a Pawsaic tile and put it right back down. Again and again. Lift it, rinse it, give it a gentle machine wash, let it dry, relay it - the grip does not wear out, because there was never any adhesive to wear out in the first place.

A tile you can wash is a tile that lasts. A tile that lasts is a rug you never have to replace - only refresh, one tile at a time.

Designed like furniture, not like a pet supply

We made Pawsaic modular because homes change and pets are unpredictable. Mix colors, build patterns, cover a hallway or a whole room. Spill something? Swap one tile. Tired of the layout? Rearrange it on a Sunday afternoon. With Pawsaic Studio, you can even design your pattern on an 8x8 grid before a single tile ships.

Neutral tones blend quietly into a room. Bold colors make a deliberate statement. Either way, it looks like an interior design choice - because it is one.

It is their home too

Our pets are not visitors. They run here, nap here, and grow old here. The least we can do is give them a floor designed with them in mind - without asking our homes to compromise.

Made for paws. Designed for home.
