We Didn’t Want Another Dog Mat

We wanted something for our dog.

We just didn’t want our home to look like we had bought something for our dog.

That distinction became surprisingly important.

Pet products are usually designed around function first. They solve a problem—but they often announce themselves the moment you walk into the room.

A dog bed looks like a dog bed.

A feeding mat looks like a feeding mat.

And a giant non-slip pet mat?

Definitely looks like a pet mat.

So we started thinking differently.

What if the solution could become part of the room instead?

Modular carpet tiles allow the pet-friendly area to feel more like an interior design choice.

Neutral tones can quietly blend into a room. Contrasting colors can create a deliberate pattern. Different layouts can define a play area without visually separating the pet from the rest of the home.

The goal isn’t to hide the fact that you live with a pet.

It’s to design a home that acknowledges that you both live there.

Because our pets aren’t visitors.

It’s their home too. Explore Pawsaic Studio
